Mentorship

Mentorship is a relationship that is established between a mentor and mentee. The purpose of this relationship is for the mentor to share knowledge and expertise with the mentee. There are two different types of relationships that a mentor and mentee can develop. 1. Formal Mentorship: a relationship between a mentor and mentee that has written goals, expectations, and scheduled meetings.  2. Informal Mentorship: a relationship between a mentor and mentee that is informal; this can be an occasional in person meeting, a phone conversation, or email exchange.
